Seller protection regarding a customer re-shipping address
As a starting point, I do have my orders marked as no international shipping and no returns. However, I have had a few orders where the buyer has their US address a re-ship company. My concerns are twofold: My lack of understanding of Ebay's policies regarding the buyers use of re-shipping addresses/companies and how I (the seller) am protected from the possible fraud I have read about from buyers using these companies.
The other issue I have regarding the use of re-shipping addresses stems from a dispute a customer made about the item not being delivered. When I check the USPS tracking it shows that "DELIVERED TO AGENT FOR FINAL DELIVERY" but still in a transit status. Researching the customer address found out that it was an address used by a re-ship company. The customer submitted a dispute saying that they had not received the item.
If anyone can please point me to a link or something from Ebay that is able to explain buyers using re-shipping companies and the protections seller have would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor3 years ago@ograd-joh i've been selling to freight forwarders for years with no problems. once the item is delivered to the FF, it is considered 'delivered' for the sake of any claims of item not rec'd.
for claims of items not as described, damaged, etc, sellers are also protected bc of a third party handling the item, can't prove who did what to the item.
