Seller Protection
I have a family member who sold a nice electronic item that the seller complained was not as advertised. They sent eBay a photo of a device that wasn’t even the same brand as the device sent them. eBay refunded the buyer’s money so the seller was out the money and the device. What protections does eBay offer against this when selling?

Mentor1 year agoUnfortunately, when a buyer returns an item that was not shipped by the seller, all the seller can do is refund the buyer and then file a report to ebay.
