Seller promised a refund for 6 missing items, then stopped responding — return deadline has passed
Hello, I need advice from eBay Community Mentors regarding a serious issue with a seller.
I placed 7 separate orders with this seller. In 6 of the orders, I paid for 2 Apple Pencils, but only 1 was shipped in each order. This means 6 items were missing in total. I provided the seller with evidence, including package weights, showing that only one item was shipped.
There is also a second serious issue: the Apple Pencils I received have identical serial numbers. Genuine Apple devices should have unique serial numbers, so I have serious concerns about their authenticity.
After several messages, the seller told me in writing that they could refund me for the items I did not receive and that no return or action from me would be required. I trusted this and did not return the items.
The seller has now stopped responding to my messages, and the return deadline has passed.
What can I do now to get the refund for the 6 items that were never shipped? Can eBay still step in and review the message history and the seller's written promise?
I have also been unable to reach eBay Customer Support through chat because I remain in the waiting queue without being connected to an agent. Is there any direct email or other way to contact eBay Support about this?
I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you.
