Seller Performance Review
So I got hit with the seller performance review after trying to withdraw funds from an item that was received in the buyer left positive feedback for. I have 100% positive feedback and one late shipment out of 63 orders which was the post office’s fault, but besides the fact I’ve gone above and beyond to be a good seller on eBay and I get hit with this performance review. I asked a representative why and all the reasons he stated did not apply to me. Why would eBay hold my funds if I’ve been an above average seller and I’ve only had about three returns which I didn’t need to take back but accepted so I can have good customer service. Customer service was absolutely no help but what could they really do? I guess I’m just a little bit confused as to why they would hold my money or what flagged it in the first place. And doing so right before the holidays is crazy work. After all the fees I pay eBay they do this; I have an actual store front and if an item sells in store I take it off eBay; would that be what triggered it? After my funds release I’m really considering unlisting everything I have and switching to other platforms. Holding peoples money after people have received their goods and were happy with them is just unacceptable to me. Anyone feel the same way? I guess I’m just venting because they held my payments at the worst possible time.
