seller payout seems to be short
Sold an item for $69.00. Transaction details net proceed $71.45. Order earnings $63.58. Funds sent at $41.58. Any idea how this happened. No help on eBay help and contact. The recording just said to use the help and contact choice.

Did you promote it? Did you have a reserve price on the auction? Did you have any other upgrades? What was your out of pocket shipping cost?

OP3 years agoNo reserve or upgrades. Buyer paid for shipping. I bought a shipping label from ebay.

Mentor3 years ago@1961lv What does the break down say on the view order details that I suggest you look at? My shipping is buyer pays. You use the money the buyer paid to purchase the shipping label.
Here's an example from one of my view order details:

Mentor3 years ago@1961lv The payout amount is reduced by eBay sellers fees and the shipping you paid for the item. Also any promoted listing fees or other optional upgrades are subtracted.
The best way to see the break down of a payout on a sale is to select View Order Details from next to the sold item on this page:

You can also select view payout but I like the view order details breakdown of fees better.
