Seller out of business, item never delivered
I purchased an item in October 2023, that was on pre order from Mattel, with a delivery date of March, now the seller is no longer in business on Ebay.

OP2 years agoThank You, very much. This is very helpful information. I actually purchased two of these items from two separate Ebay sellers, one is still selling on Ebay. I reached out to that Ebay seller, and am awaiting a response. If they don't respond, is there anything I can do?

Mentor2 years ago@maisa_2043 As far as eBay is concerned the same MBG rules apply. You MUST file a not received refund request within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date in the purchase history.
If you paid using PayPal you have 180 days for not received refund requests from the date of payment. Otherwise credit card charge backs are your only option.
( Note that PayPal recently changed the time limit for not as described returns to 30 days from 180 and may change the not received claims period to 30 days in the future)

Mentor2 years ago@maisa_2043 Sorry that happened. The seller was probably removed for violating the pre-sale policy, sellers are not supposed to list items for sale that they can't ship within 30 days of payment.
You only have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay. NOT the date the seller says in the description.
Will need to contact PayPal, your bank or credit card to do a chargeback for a not received item.
