Seller oked a return and I sent the item back asap so there would not be an excuse it was not sent
On time ,The mistake I made was I didn’t use the eBay shipping label and took it to the post office and mailed it myself and paid shipping ! My first return. The seller said he didn’t get the part back so I sent him the tracking # I got at the post office and the next thing was he said the part was damaged so no refund and opened a case with eBay so I need to know where to go from here. The item was a used cast iron gearbox and when I saw it didn’t fit I put it back in the same box it came in and took it to the post office. Please help $541. Is a lot of money for an81 year old man on Social Security.Thank you

Mentor2 years agoDid you open a return? If it's still open, go back to it ASAP and enter the tracking # for the package you sent back that proves delivery. After you do that, you can use the option in the case to ask eBay to step in.
