Seller offered discount instead of return.
The seller has offered a deep deep discount instead of returning the item. However the sellers says I must cancel the refund request first. Is that true?

It is absolutely not true. The seller is trying to bamboozle you. If you cancel, the seller will go all "So long, sucker."
