Seller not returning money for defective item
I bought a unit that was defective and did not work right of the box. I made the seller aware and they said to send it back and they would return my money. I UPS’d the item and they tried to deliver it 3 times and the seller was not there. I notified the seller that the item was waiting at the UPS store for them to now pick up. The seller never went and got the item and a week later UPS returned the item to me. The seller refused to pick up the item. What do I do now? It was expensive and I just want me money back.

Mentor2 years agoDid you file a returns request, or did you just send the item back on your own nickle? This is how to file a returns request:
The easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. You have 30 days from date of receipt. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
