Seller not responding to a cancellation after stating there is a problem with the item purhased.
I have gone through every possible link on here to try to get help and this is my last hope.
On June 25th I purchased a custom made pickguard for a guitar. Item number 275621288582. Seller is @precision Guitar AZ . As clearly stated in the item description, "The pickguard in the photo is the one you will get!". Two days later, the seller contacts me and tells me that "Ebay had a glitch" and duplicated a bunch of his listings, and that the item shown IS NOT the item that I would be receiving, and he will be making a new one to send. I purchased this item very specifically for the color and pattern of the item shown, as the item description stated that the photographed item would be the part I would be receiving. I told the seller this is not acceptable and to cancel the order. I received no response, so I initiated a request to cancel the order through Ebay. After 72 hours, I get a denial of this request from Ebay. Repeated attempts to contact this seller and cancel this order are being ignored. Furthermore, there are multiple instances of negative feedback for this seller for ignoring communications with problem orders.
What do I do now? I do not want another part, I want the item as it was described (the item in the photo) or I want my money back? Why is this so hard to resolve? What kind of seller does this?

·3 years agoThat seller has very nice items. When you get the pick guard if you don’t like it and it’s not like the one advertised, start a return and choose item not as described. You might end up liking it and it might be very similar to the one you wanted.
