Seller not responding
I purchased an item over 2 months ago. It was not authentic and I had sent that question to the seller before buying. They said it was authentic, so I purchased it. It was not authentic when it arrived . Seller said to return the item. I mailed it back to the address on the envelop. The item was returned to me over a month later saying the address was insufficient. I have contacted the seller 3 more times with no reply for the new address to return. Plus I contacted EBAY for help and they said seller should contact me. Its been 12 days and still no return message . What else can I do???

Mentor4 months ago@pams2412 I am so sorry but you handled the return request incorrectly. You should have filed an official eBay return request within 30 days of the date of delivery and then returned the item using the eBay return shipping label.
It is too late to file an eBay return request now. An agent can not extend the return time limit.
Your only option is a fraud chargeback with your payment method. The seller will also receive a much deserved $20 dispute fee

Mentor4 months agoYou needed to file an Ebay Return Request when you received the inauthentic item and returned it using the return shipping label that would have been provided.
There is nothing further you can do through Ebay since it has been more than 30 days since you originally received the item.
You can try to dispute the charge through the payment source you used to pay for the item.
