seller not responding
The seller of an item that I purchased is not responding to any of my messages. I spoke with an eBay rep and they told me that they can not make sellers respond to buyers' messages, even though as a buyer you have to use eBay's platform to contact the seller. This does not seem right or a fair way to do business. What should I do?

Sellers are not required to respond to messages, though many will as a matter of good customer service.
If you need more information from a seller to decide whether to purchase, find another seller that provides the info you need to do business with.
If you are involved in a transaction and the item does not arrive by the last estimated delivery date, the next day you can file an "item not received" case with eBay and ask eBay to step in after three business days if the seller does not cooperate.
