Seller not responding
I bought an item and now am second guessing if it's a legitimate buy or not. The seller will not respond to my questions and I bought it on good faith but then asked a few questions and got no response. I tried to cancel the order within about 3 hrs of buying the item but as soon as I did the seller provided a tracking number like 30 minutes later. Now it's got tracking attached but the item hasn't been picked up or delivered to USPS and the tracking hasn't updated since Saturday. I bought another item for the drone I purchased on Sunday and tracking and a delivery datefor that item has been provided and updated. I feel like something fishy is going on. What can I do at this point.

Maybe there is, and maybe there isn't, but you can't rightfully make that conclusion from only the few facts you described. Let me try to compress the sequence of events.
• you bought an item
• then asked a few questions
• didn't get a reply within three hours
• therefore asked to cancel the transaction
At what time of day was this? Please say it was about three in the morning, that would make it perfect. 😀 No matter what time it was, there could be many reasons why a seller wouldn't be sitting at his computer for a three-hour period. I'd say the most common reason is that some sellers have a job outside of eBay. Of course, I could be wrong.
As already advised, all you can do now is be patient and wait for the item to arrive. Or, you don't have to be patient, but you will still have to wait. If you go to your Purchase History page and check under the Order Details, you can find the estimated date of delivery. If that date passes and your item still hasn't arrived, you can open a claim for Item Not Received and get a refund ... ordinarily. But go to the next paragraph.
The "not received" process is described at https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers?id=4008 or you could return to this forum and somebody will give you directions how to do it. But if the tracking says the item was delivered, but you didn't get it, do not open INR. Come back here for help before you do anything.

Mentor1 year agoThe time to ask questions is before purchase and to avoid sellers that do not respond. Now you will just have to wait till the estimated delivery date passes before being able to do anything else.
