Seller never sent me merchandise and posted a bogus UPS shipping number.
I am no longer on EBay after 22 years. Last seller never shipped merchandise and posted a bogus UPS shipping number. UPS sent me the ledger pages for this delivery. It was addressed to another party and received by another party. EBay decided in the SELLER'S favor without doing any verification of the shipping number. I appealed twice. My credit card company just decided in my favor and issued a permanent refund (after I gave them the same evidence). EBay is unresponsive and unreachable.

Mentor2 years agoAt least you were able to get a refund through your credit card issuer.
For others in the same situation, it is possible to deal with fake tracking on eBay, though eBay does not make it simple:
