Seller never responded to cancellation after it wasn’t sure of the correct part.
I used the system generated “does this fit your car†for ordering a part for my car. The system said it did. The seller wanted to know additional information ie, the VIN numbers which tells me that the seller wasn’t sure that it would fit.
Over the past 20+ years of my using EBay and having ordered over 50 parts for my car without a problem or providing additional information, I requested from the seller to cancel the order since it hasn’t been shipped, yet the seller hasn’t responded. It’s for a $7 PCV Valve.
What can I do?

Since buyers cannot cancel their orders, it is up to the seller. Sellers are not obligated to agree to the cancellation nor are they required to respond to your request.
