Seller never actually shipped
I bought an item from a seller after we negotiated on the price. It showed that he printed out the shipping label but then he sent me a message saying that he couldn’t ship it because eBay wouldn’t let him change his address. And he said “refund it“. I contacted him multiple times asking him what was happening and to just refund my money if he wasn’t going to actually ship. He never responded again. I did report him to eBay, but I never received even a confirmation that they received my report. The only thing the Help and support page tells me is just to wait and see if it shows up. It’s not going to show up because he never actually shipped it. The post office shows they are awaiting the item. That was four days ago. Is there anything else for me to do?

Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date .
You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay.

4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.

If it is more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date then you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.

OP10 months agoThank you very much for the detailed information. I did check and it said that I have to wait until after the 20th. It’s just very frustrating that I have to wait that long when it was a gift. I’m not sure if the seller is confused or is actually trying to scam me. I’m not sure how he could make any money off of this because sellers don’t get paid right away anyway. it’s just very inconvenient but anyway, thank you so much for replying.
