Seller needs MORE protection
I sold an item. Printed the label from eBay, attached to package and dropped in a USPS blue box.
Package is missing, neither I nor buyer have the item. Tracking still shows as if I have not mailed it. USPS can not find it. They say it may be stuck in a loop. Whatever that means. So the buyer got refunded, and I just get to lose?
The item was worth over $300 and I don't even know how to file an insurance claim because I can not get a single live human being from eBay! What happened to this company? I remember you used to be able to talk to ppl to get matters solved.
Greed spreads fast!
Highly disappointed in a company I used to be proud to be associated with.

This is not a problem that eBay caused or can help with. In fact, when you don't get the package scanned by your carrier or the post office, there is nothing USPS can do for you either because there is no evidence you actually shipped. An insurance claim will not be honored.
This has nothing to do with greed, it's entirely a problem with you not having your package scanned when you shipped.
