Seller misrepresented items, “combined†both orders and didn’t ship one
The seller stated that there were 3 items per listing. They had two listings for a total of 6 items.
When I received the package, there was only one unit. To make matters more complicated, the there was only one tracking number for both listing, so the seller seemed to have “combined†the shipping but did’t send anything in the package for the second listing.
I reached out to the seller, and they offered a partial refund for the item delivered. I refused, telling them that they misrepresented the listings and that my use case could not make use of a single item.
i was told that I should start the refund process.
i did it for the first listing, it for the second listing, i filed a claims stating that nothing was received.
The seller is now delaying first saying it was eBay that needs to resolve the case, and that it’s out of their hands, and then going back to the “we can offer a partial refund†route.
I’m not getting a good feeling about this, as with other issues, things have been resolved fairly quickly, but this is being dragged.
Please advise.

Mentor6 months ago@sheikhsam Did you file a not received refund request? If yes then is this case still open? You will lose the case as tracking shows delivery.
OR a not as described RETURN request, missing parts or pieces?
