Seller Mis representation for Browse Manipulation - Ebay Does Nothing about it !!
I was searching to by sports cards for my Personal Collection, Came across a seller, who had so many titles misrepresented, it was not even funny. ( Card pictured not matching titles, Listing cards as numbered when they are not, etc) I kindly message the seller, to let them know that they had a few cards with titles that were not matching the description of what the title was versus the picture. The seller pretty much came back and clearly stated, It happens alot on here , and pretty much did not care, So at that point, we reported 2 of the listings for Browse manipulation, and that the pictured card did not match the title, And all we got back was, that the AI system could not see a violation, This is totally ridiculous, that the Ebay system so called AI does not detect the wrong pictures, versus title, I think they have a flaw in the AI system. Pretty much it seems the seller knows they can manipulate the search engine on ebay to get better search , by using a fake title.
