Seller marked the items as shipped but hasn't shipped them now won't cancel
I ordered 2 items from a seller on Oct. 26. He marked them as shipped on Oct. 26 but there's been no movement on the USPS tracking number. He admitted to me that they haven't shipped. The delivery window is now closed and eBay's help articles say that I can ask them to step in. There's no way on any of the order detail screens to ask eBay to do this. I'm at the point where I'm ready to call my bank and report the transactions as fraud because no one is really interested in helping me out.

OP2 years agoI did that. The seller responded that it was going to be shipped soon. I've asked him to cancel it twice.
There is no "ask us to step in button" on any screen.

·2 years agoYou have to wait until the case has been open for 4 days, then you'll be able to ask them to step in.

Mentor2 years agoThe seller has 3 business days to respond through the request - weekends do not count. On business day #4, you should see the ‘ask us to step in’ option.
If you’re still having trouble after 4 business days, ask customer service for assistance.
To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.

Mentor2 years agoYou need to open a not received claim for each item, unless it was a quantity of 2 on a single line item. You have 30 days after the expected delivery date to open your claims, so it is not possible for that window to be closed yet on purchases made 10/26.
After the last expected delivery date, but no more than 30 days after the last expected delivery date, go to your purchase history - select 'I haven't received it' and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to provide tracking that shows delivery, or a refund. If he doesn't, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
