Seller listing presumed fake autographs with fake COAs
For months I've been watching a seller list what I believe are fake autographed sports cards. He/she has told me through messages that they were obtained "in lots from another seller" and "I can't tell you where or when it was signed". He originally sold them without COAs and had a different username/store front. After I had been questioning where they came from, he eventually changed his username/store front to a different name and then started having COAs. The company name on the COAs is his old username/store front and he/she created a basic website for that COA "company" that has no information on where they are even located or how to contact them. This is as shady as it comes and I am trying to look out for all of these duped buyers.
Every time I try and report any listing to eBay, I get the response of "We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence." I cannot get an actual human to investigate this.
I should add that this seller is continuously mainly listing the same players over and over again and pretty much every single one of the "autographs" any person can make as these players do not have intricate signatures, just mainly squiggles. He lists 10-20 per week only, probably to keep flying under the radar of scrutiny.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get an actual investigation into a seller like this?
