Seller Lied about Return - Case Now Closed

Question

I had a return a few months ago where the seller opened a case claiming I had not returned it, but I did. I did not even notice the seller had opened a case, and now it is closed and past 30 days appeal window.

I have proof of the shipment and it was returned on time. How do I appeal this now? Extremely upset and ready to quit Ebay for good. The chatbot is useless.

Some important questions...

Did you go through the Ebay Return Request process?
If so, did you use the return shipping label that was provided to you?
Does tracking indicate that the returned item was delivered to the seller?

If the deadline has passed for filing an appeal, there is nothing you can do through Ebay.
