Seller level appeal?
Hi there! I'm having trouble finding any info or even anyone at ebay to chat with to ask this question; hopefully the community can help.
My seller level was rated yesterday, and I'm really interested in becoming 'top rated'. However, when I started selling about a year ago I was using a shipping policy of the 'ebay standard envelope'. Which, at the time, I thought meant STAMPS. About 8 months in, I found that ebay had its own postage, including the tracking numbers, which was exactly what ebay standard envelope meant. Once I figured that out and changed everything over, tracking has been updating and good (though shipping has had so many issues of not showing up, getting lost, etc, but that's for another discussion).
However, the problem now is that my seller level says I only have updated about 48% (something like 19% on last eval) of tracking info on time. I'd like to see if I can appeal or change that since it's technically correct, but also a mistake on my part for not understanding the LOADS of info tossed at you when you start selling. We are still listed as above standard, but.. I try so very hard to satisfy my customers, I just want that reflected.
It's getting better, and I won't let this happen again, but I also don't want it to take months to fully fall off my score. Is there anything I can reasonably do to resolve this? Can I appeal, or have I shot myself in the foot?

OP2 years agoAs it turns out, several of my policies somehow still had this listed as an option even though I thought I had cleared them all out. Looks like several listings were left with both this and stamp shipping somehow. I know you can list options that the buyer can pick, but to have two separate policies on the same item.. ? I had no idea, obviously!
It seems like all of this is user error, but it's not exactly straightforward, either.
