Seller jas_a_ulvqwv
I had opened a ticket to eBay concerning my order. The seller closed my ticket and now I cannot respond to anything he had sent customer service. I’ve been responding to the seller by eBay text messages through notification. The seller provided messages to eBay that weren’t true.
There were a lot of messages back and forth between the seller and myself, the buyer.
Most of the messages were promising to replace and deliver the DOA fish. Seller stated the tracking number for the replacement fish was the same as the original tracking number for the original purchase.
The following was the last message I received and today, Saturday, March 7, I received no tracking number and no fish.
Messages from the seller: “I promise you they will be there before Saturday.
I will call usps myself to find out exactly where it’s at for you and get back to you later tonight after I close up.
I’ve never done any one wrong. I promise you a second pair have been prioritized and will land by Saturday, if not earlier.”
To date, I can’t get a hold of EBay. Lost around $200, no fish replacement, and seller is no longer responding.
I read somewhere that if 30 days passed, the seller is no longer responsible. I assumed the seller kept promising to deliver until the 30 days was up and now that 30 days passed, he is no longer responding to my messages.

Mentor6 months agoYes, you only have 30 days from receipt of an item to file a returns request for Item Not as Described. It it is past 30 days, contact your credit card issuer if that is how you paid, regarding a chargeback. Most credit cards will help for up to 180 days from date of transaction.
