Seller: item-not-as-described dispute
“I’m the seller in an item-not-as-described dispute. I have dated photographs proving the helmet’s condition 14 days before the sale, including the exact area the buyer says is damaged, and the UPS Store professionally packed it. I need a representative to review my evidence before this case is decided. What is the best way to proceed as I don’t see any option to chat with support.

Mentor1 month agoYou need to provide them with a return label and refund when you get it back. If you don't send them the label then eBay will just refund them from your money and let them keep the helmet and you get a defect on your account.
eBay doesn't care about your photos taken 14 days before the item sold

OP1 month agoThank you! So what happens if they don’t return the item by the required date?

Mentor1 month ago · EditedThen the case will close but I think eBay gives them 3 weeks to get the item in the mail..not for you to receive it. So let's say if they opened a case now they have until Sept 24 to drop it in the mail.

Mentor1 month agoIn the case of item not as described, the buyer wins. This is the eBay 30 day money back guarantee and all sellers must abide by this. You have 3 days to accept the return. You can provide a paid label if you want the item shipped back and you would refund when you get it back. Or you can refund outright without getting the item back. If you don't, eBay will find in the buyer's favor and refund from your funds, giving you a defect on your account. You must take care of this whether you agree or not.

Mentor1 month agoThe return date is the date they must have turned the package over to the shipping carrier not the date you get the item back. Check the return tracking and if the package does not get delivered you can then contact eBay and they will close the case in your favor but do not do this too soon.
