Seller is trying to send me a different FedEx tracking number to ship a return back
Seller is trying to send me a different FedEx tracking number to ship a return back, other than the return shipping number I got through eBay. I can't print the new number from the seller as it is a .png format as an attachment to a text from the seller. Since it's a different number, but the return goes to the same address, I'm very leery to use the number from the seller. If I use his return tracking number, eBay might not repay my money since it is not the number they sent me to return the item to the seller for a refund. how to I get up with eBay to make sure this is legal to do it with the sellers new number?

·2 years agoThe seller has sent an image of a return label. Most mail messages allow an attachment to be saved to the local computer, where it can then be sent to the printer.

·2 years agoIf they both go to the same place, you can use either return label, but should use the seller's preferred return method. Return labels are not charged until they are used. eBay typically issues a USPS return label, but heavier or larger items are cheaper to ship through FedEx or UPS, so that is why the seller may have issued their own label. Did the seller upload the return label number to the case? When you ship the item, be sure the tracking number is added to the return case so that it can be marked as returned when it arrives back to the seller. The seller will have two business days to issue a refund, once the item is received back.
