Seller is refusing to make it right, and removed my negative feedback

I purchased a vehicle that had to be shipped. Seller stated in the ad that it was not leaking anything. It is actively leaking multiple fluids and the seller is refusing to admit it or do anything about it. All he is saying is that "it want leaking when it left." I know a bit about vehicles, and there is evidence of it leaking for quite some time. I also don't believe it started leaking coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and oil all at the same time while being transported on a flat bed truck.

I left negative and honest feedback, and the seller has now marked the listing as unpaid. I am fearful he has done this to others in the past, and will continue to in the future if he is able to get away with removing feedback in that manner. What do I do?

Sales on eBay Motors are non-binding, either party can simply walk away without penalty before the vehicle and money change hands. You needed to go examine the vehicle yourself or hire a mechanic, not just trust what the seller is saying. Unfortunately the problem is probably yours now. Depending on the age of the vehicle, eBay offers a very limited vehicle protection.
