Seller is not honoring warranty
I bought LED whip lights from seller. They claim a 3 year warranty. 10 months and 3 weeks after receiving them they started messing up. I contacted the seller and they said to send pics of them not working and I did. They then sent me their return address to send the lights back. I went to the post office paid $24.10 and sent them to them. USPS tracking # 9534614498264067156789 shows delivered march 9th 2024 4pm. The seller is saying they didn't recieve them and now has stopped responding to my messages.
Ebay is saying they don't have anything to do with it after 30 days from when I got them. So when they say ask them to step in and they will help, it has to be within the first 30 days period or your screwed out of your money for the purchase and the return shipping.
Ebay contact phone number is 866-540-3229. I have called and talked to them several times about this issue. They sent me a Ebay message saying they would look into it. I waited 3 weeks and didn't hear back from them. So, I just called them back and the guy told me that it was an issue I had to work out with the seller. I told him look at my messages and he could see the seller isn't responding. He told me about the 30 day Ebay return rule that was it.
So beware shopping on Ebay. This lesson cost me $123.00 which isn't that much now days but is enough to make me shop on Amazon fof now on and became a Prime member.
I read up on their policies and their seller's policies and it's a lot better.
