Seller is not active or was ghost after purchase of $7000 watch
Order 11-14112-05266 for Omega Watch. Seller has never responded to my messages and has not shipped the item to the eBay authentic service to be verified. I requested cancellation of transaction when I realized seller is either not active or a ghost. No response to that request either. Seems like there is no way to get anyone at eBay to respond. Says I have to wait until after the expected delivery date to then report the item not received. There should be a way to chat with someone live at eBay or a phone number to call for expensive item. I did put a charge dispute in with the credit card. Any suggestions? Hopefully eBay is monitoring this chat. HELP!

Once you involve your payment method in a dispute, eBay can no longer help you as the matter is taken out of eBay's hands.

OP8 months agoOK Thanks for the reply. I just did the dispute yesterday with the CC company, I doubt they have done anything so far. Probably be a week or two before the bank files a chargeback to ebay. At least with the bank I can talk to a live person anytime on the phone or at the bank branch.
I cant even find a way to communicate with ebay until after the expected delivery date of 1/31/26.
Ebay policy says the seller must ship the item to be authenticated by 3 days, but what happens if they dont? Also Ebay says the seller has 3 days to respond to cancellation request but what if the seller does not?
