Seller is MIA after declining my cancellation request due to misrepresented listing
Summary: gaiagal76 shared their experience of purchasing textbooks on Sept 9th, which turned out to be different than expected due to a misrepresented listing. Upon realizing this, they attempted to cancel the order, but their request was declined. The seller later claimed they had phone issues and agreed to try cancelling the order, but gaiagal76 has since not received any refund or further communication. lady_madonna offered guidance by suggesting that if the textbooks don't arrive or don't match the description, gaiagal76 could file a refund or return request through eBay, highlighting specific steps and timelines for these processes.
Hello!
I bought some textbooks on Sept 9th and my daughter pointed out that the picture did not match the listing and I wasn't buying the books I thought I was. I immediately tried to cancel the purchase but it was declined. The seller did not get back to me until Sept 14th saying they dropped their phone in the water but were going to try to go in and cancel the order. I asked the seller to refund me my money and haven't heard from them since. I keep going in circles trying to find someone from eBay to talk to about can only engage with this automatic assistant.
