seller help with "items not reiceved claim"
Summary: tywin5344 is seeking advice after a buyer claimed not to receive a package for sports cards, despite tracking confirming delivery. Initially, eBay sided with tywin5344, but after the buyer reopened the dispute, eBay decided in the buyer's favor, withdrawing funds from tywin5344's account. tywin5344 is frustrated and unable to understand why seller protection did not apply, and is looking for help to recover the money or resolve the issue.
I recently had a buyer purchase 2 different sports cards from me. " repeat seller" going to the same address. Like always i combined the cards into one package and updated the tracking on both listings. The tracking details show delivered on both cards. The buyer claimed they never reicved the package and opened up a dispute. At first ebay closed the dispute in my favor , then the buyer opened another one and ebay ended up closing it in their favor and took the funds out of my account. I disputed that and lost. How am i not covered under any seller protection? Both items were shipped and show delivered but yet i am at fault? all tracking was in and there is nothing more i couldve done. can anyone help id really like my money back because now i am out that and the cards. I have everything to show to be able to win that case.

Mentor2 weeks agoBuyer must have opened the second dispute with the payment processor not ebay. You need to contact the carrier and ask for confirmation of where the item was actually delivered. If item was mis-delivered they will try to retrieve it and redeliver it. If actually delivered to the proper address and possibly stolen, this would be the buyer's problem, but since already refunded your sort of out of luck. I also would put an alert on the tracking to see if it got turned in, if it went the wrong place.
