Seller hasn’t sent item and is playing games
Another jerk eBay seller. I had bought this tie and all they did was provide a tracking number, hasn’t been shipped. So I contacted eBay and wanted a refund. I get a notification that shipping information was updated but I looked and there is no new information. So now I message the seller demanded a refund. I tried to contact eBay but that was impossible they now tell me to wait another week. This whole thing is a **bleep** joke for 17 bucks. This is the WORSET seller I have ever dealt with. I’m going to make sure everyone knows about this seller. I’m not going to be treated like this.

Mentor4 months agoI did an "Advanced" search, assuming that was the item number, and the message was:
"No exact matches found"
So -- was that the item number or your order number?
The order number has dashes, while the item number is a continuous string of 12 numbers.
If this happens again and you decide to (try to?) be just a tiny bit more patient with the US Postal Service (USPS), this explanation might help you understand the process a little better:
It sometimes happens that an eBay seller drops the package/envelope into a USPS mailbox or leaves it on the counter at his/her local post office, but the USPS employee(s), for some reason, do not scan the tracking numbers on the shipping label, not at that point.
A USPS scan of the tracking number might not happen until a day or two later or, worst case, until the item is delivered to the address on the shipping label.
When you buy stuff on eBay, the important thing for you to follow is the Estimated Delivery Date.
If the item is not actually delivered on that date, you are entitled to file an Item Not Received (INR) claim with eBay. On that date or within 30 days afterwards.

OP4 months ago12-14423-85820 Is the order number. eBay said the seller updated the shipping information but nothing was changed. Now eBay appears to have cancelled my complaint and I can’t contact them again about it. All four a 17 dollar tie . I went on social media and found a couple of people who hate eBay and gave them the information and I hope they do something, at least let everyone know about this idiot.
As for me I’m done. As soon as my crap arrived in closing it

Check the Order Details in your Purchase History to see whether the Estimated Delivery Date has arrived. If if has ... then do the following:
In case you run into trouble getting a refund from eBay ... remember that you can always request a chargeback from your credit card company. BUT it's best to go through the eBay process first, since you won't be able to use it once you contact another agency for a refund.

You have to allow the seller until the estimated delivery date to receive the item before opening a case. That's what you agreed to when you made the purchase. If the seller did not obtain a scan when he shipped the item, you might not see tracking until the item is delivered.
Here's what to do if the item doesn't arrive...
Check the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History. When that date has passed, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. eBay will force the refund.

OP4 months agoWhatever. I got a **bleep** email that this a hole updated the shipping information and now eBay says it will be here on April 10. This is a **bleep** joke and I already got my 17 bucks back from the credit card company. There’s a couple of people on social media and I sent them this information and I guess they’ll post it. So there.

If you look at the item in your Purchase History, you'll see the estimated delivery date that was on the listing when you made the purchase.
If you look at the item in search results, the estimated delivery date updates daily.
Glad you received your refund.
