Seller has passed away need help closing account.
This seller has passed away and I made all of the items listed inactive. The sellers bank account has been closed but apparently there is now money pending and ebay is giving me sh*t about it. There's nothing more I can do. I have sent numerous close account requests and NOTHING. Any help appreciated but I am at the point now where I don't care what ebay does. Thanks

Mentor3 years ago@saintsfaninfl Sorry for your loss, but the only way funds can be paid out are to the sellers checking account.
If the sellers bank account has been closed then the funds will go to the state and have to be claimed from them after a period of time. The time this takes varies by state. You would need to have something that proves you have rights to the funds such as a will or be the estates executor.
The eBay account can't be completely closed until the balance on the account is zero.
