Seller has not responded after several trys.
I bid on an item that was local pick up only. I didn't notice that.
I have asked the seller via email to cancel the order and/ot offered to pay shipping.
He has not responed.
What can I do.

OP2 years agoBut he should also show respect for me by replying as the first response above states.
We are a community we need to respect each other and that is best for all.
I have never been treated this badly in my 16 years as a purchaser.
I have had sellers make mistakes and worked with them, and have made mistakes and always been able to work it out with the seller to our mutual satisfaction.
Better to work things out than treat each other badly.
I sure would not like to deal with you.
You and this seller reflect poorly on the ebay community.

·2 years agoA seller is not required to cancel at a buyer's request or even respond to the request.
A buyer has 4 calendar days to pay for the item before the seller can cancel for non-payment. Such non-payment cancellation is considered in your buying limits and counts towards an automatic block sellers can set of any potential buyer who has at least 2 in the past 12 months.
ALWAYS check BEFORE you bid, offer or otherwise commit to buy the item that the item will ship to your location and for how much and how long it will take on the Shipping, Returns and Payments tab of the listing on the full website. You agreed to pick the item up when you bid.

OP2 years agoOK in 15 years on eBay I have never had poor feedback, I don't sell much at all. I'll give this seller negative feedback. To me he could at least post a reply. I think that would be common respect.

·2 years agoYour feedback is irrelevant, especially your feedback as a buyer. For the past 16 years sellers have not been allowed to leave less than a glowing positive for a buyer no matter how much they deserve less.
And if you don't pay the seller can cancel for non-payment after 4 days and block you from leaving feedback (or have it removed if you left it before then which would definitely be an incentive for him to cancel for non-payment).
You need to show common respect for the seller and read the listing before agreeing to it and not blame him for YOUR mistake or expect him to fix it.

-Did you actually Pay for the item or just bid on it?
-If you just bid on it ask the Seller to cancel your bid because you did not see it was Local Pick up only. While they do not have to a smart Seller will cancel the bid to avoid issues down the road
-It's the weekend, the Seller may not be home
-What kind of money are we talking about?

OP2 years agoI have not payed. But have gotten no replies after 2 days.
If I don't pay will somebody contact me from ebay, or if the seller never replies will ebay contact me.
I bid $50 but will not pay if I get no reply from the seller.
I do want the item if the sell will ship.
