Seller has changed listing after I've received item - I can't see original listing
I need to return an item because it doesn't match the original description, but when I go to view the original item details there's a message saying "The listing below has been updated by the seller, but you can see the item you purchased." When I click on "item your purchased," which is a hyperlink, instead of bringing me to the original listing, it brings me to a "Get started with eBay" page, asking me to register like I'm a new eBay user and when I type in my name and password, all it does is tell me my email address is already registered with eBay. It's a dead end. I don't know what to do.

Mentor1 year agoIt sounds like you may have purchased the item as a guest. Guest purchases are not part of your purchase history so eBay cannot associate the purchase with your account. If you did this then you need to find the confirmation email for the purchase which will have special log in instructions you need to use for this specific item. Then you would be able to see the original listing and open any case or request you need.
