Seller had feedback removed.
I'm really disappointed in eBay. A seller sold me a cheap Chinese wig saying it was Paula Young. She shipped it in a new Paula young box. I contacted her and she blamed it on quality going down. I know, without a doubt that it is, in fact, a Chinese knockoff. She offered a discount or return. I did not want to return for fear she would do the same thing to someone else and excepting a discount to keep this thing was not an option. I posted negative feedback on her account today, it was removed sometime today. I only stated facts, how it played out and that she used her length of time on eBay and positive feedback to intimidate. I knew something was fishy when she mentioned the positive feedback. She evidently knows how to play the system and the negative was removed. What does she know that I don't? I told her in messages before I posted the negative, That I should give her a negative for treating me like an imbecile. She messaged me that she reported me for feedback extorsion. How is that feedback extortion?? What she did was commit fraud and eBay let her do it.

How dare you think that I would believe this to be a Paula Young! This is nothing more than a cheap heavy Chinese piece of junk. I am so **bleep** right now!

I'm sorry to hear this wig didn't meet your expectations. I've been a top rated seller selling these wigs for over 15 years and I have noticed the quality decline over time. Once made in the US, the company transitioned production to Japan for their higher quality wigs, and ultimately various countries in Asia such as China.
However, I do like to keep MY customers satisfied! Would you like to return the wig, or would you prefer a discount and keep it? Please let me know your preference at your earliest convenience.

What a crock. Is that the best you can come up with?? This is a cheap Chinese wig. There has been no "decline" in quality of Paula Young wigs. How dare you insult my intelligence with your crap. I have been buying Paula Young wigs for ages. There is nothing about this junk that indicates it's Paula Young. You are about to get your first negative feedback just for treating me like an imbecile. You want me to take my time to ship this garbage back to you so that you can sell it to another unsuspecting person? How many other people have you pulled this crap on? How many other name brand wig boxes have you used and how many more will you use?

I'm going to contact eBay about you and possible fraud. For you to try to defend the sale of this wig, as being what it is not, is very concerning. I really do wonder how many times you've pulled this stunt. And, I don't care how long you've been selling or what your rating is, that doesn't prove you are an honest person, it only means you know how to play the system. I think you are a manipulative person that takes whatever steps necessary to stay out of negative territory. I want eBay to have record of this for any future issues with you.

This is a member-to-member board and we can't see anything in your account. Without being able to see the exact wording of all the communications between you, no one here can tell you how or if it was feedback extortion.
