Seller "fully refunded" me according to eBay, I only receive half of my money.
I recently made a purchase worth 49.57 USD total, incl. the item price (15.00) + intl. shipping from US to the Netherlands (25.97) + VAT (8.60).
I was not happy with the item's condition when it arrived, so I complained to the seller. They were nice about it and initiated a full refund via eBay.
But eBay only refunded about half of the total sum (25.29).
In the breakdown I can see, they only counted 10.29 USD for shipping and VAT, instead of the 34.57 I actually paid.
I can't contact eBay about it, because they say it has been "fully refunded", and the chat bot is dumb and keeps sending me in circles.
What happened here? What can I do now?
