Seller fees
Hi JohnK here from New Jersey.
I have been a member since 09, and I feel the newer fees added to my net are making rethink my loyalty to EBay. I was always positive and felt it was a safe and refereed place to sell items worldwide.
Well recently I have found the commission fees to be overreacting. Not only on the sale but, the shipping and the tax ! Seems excessive! Commission on the buyer shipping cost and the tax! What next !
I just revised all of my listing as to protect my profit on a sale.
Just hope it doesn’t scare away potential buyers!

Many, many, many eBay sellers take a similar position: that their buyers pay their eBay fees.
This means carefully pricing the listings that you list, adding a handling charge that helps to cover your packaging costs (bubble wrap, blank mailing labels, etc.), and perhaps your mileage to and from the post office.
Having "Local Pickup Only" (on at least one of your listings that I saw) is an excellent decision. You really don't want to take the risk of damage to an expensive item if you have it shipped and delivered by a third party.
