Seller failure to record sale of item in buyer account, disabling refund process

Question

I purchased a cell phone from txcellular and have been trying to return it. I have contacted the seller, who told me use the ebay refund process on its website. However, the purchase is not listed in my account purchase list and ebay provides no other way to identify it. I have related this to the seller more than three days ago, but have had no response or solution from him.

If you don't see the item in your Purchase History, it sounds as if you used guest checkout. See the link below to get help with a guest order:
