Seller doesn’t respond after wanting a refund
Summary: decdec123 described their experience of purchasing an item, only to be informed by the seller that a house fire had destroyed it. Despite waiting additional days and reaching out for a refund, they received no response from the seller. They are seeking advice on how to obtain their refund and are concerned about being scammed.
I bought an item on August 29, 2026 and I waited about three days for it to ship. when I texted the seller about shipping my item they stated that there was a house fire that had happened and that the item was burnt. I respectfully waited for five more days and I asked again when I’m going to get my refund and the seller never responded. The seller also printed out a shipping label the same day I bought it. This is the first time it has happened to me. I don’t know if this is a scam tactic or not but I just need help on how to get my refund.
