Seller doesn’t accept returns on wrong description and item doesn’t fit
I recently purchased something that was said in the ad that it will fit my jet ski. The item is listed and states that it will fit a 2003-2008 Yamaha gp1300r. The item doesn’t fit and the seller messed up. The item only fits a 1998-1999 gp800. The item is smaller and the bolt holes don’t line up.
I went to purchased item, return item, doesn’t fit. eBay closed the return request right away.
How can I return this?

Mentor8 months agoUnfortunately "doesn't fit" is for clothing items and is considered a "remorse" return that the seller can deny.
You should have chosen "does not match description", which the seller cannot deny.
I do not think eBay will allow you to open a new case at this point; you may still have recourse through your payment method, but you may be responsible for paying for return shipping. Check with your card issuer or bank for details of how returns are handled.
