SELLER DOES NOT PROVIDE TRACKING STATUS
Hello there.
The product I have purchased few days ago, I see that it has been shipped. But, there is no tracking status.
Are the sellers obligated to add the tracking status of a product?
Thanks

Mentor1 year agoSellers are not required to send you tracking information.
They do not need to ship with tracking. For example, small items that can be shipped first class mail.
It is a benefit to both parties to have tracking but it is not required.
Have you researched the history and feedback of the seller before you purchased?

·1 year agoNo. Sellers aren’t required to ship with tracking, or to provide tracking information to the buyer. While it’s nice to see the progress of the shipping from the buyer’s side, tracking is really for the sellers benefit. When an item is late in arriving, the buyer can open an item not received case. If the seller inputs tracking information showing delivery , they will win the case. If they do not have tracking, they’ll lose every time, so it’s for their protection from false item not received claims.
