Seller does not intend to ship paid item

Question

Seller claims his social security/immigration status won't allow him to ship item I paid for after winning auction.

Seller now refuses to respond.

I want ebay to get involved so I can get free of this mess...

@pssor Sorry this happened to you.

eBay will have you wait until the item is at least one day then file a not received refund request. If the seller doesn't willingly refund you then they will force a refund from the sellers account. eBay does need to make it clearer what is required to receive buyers payments BEFORE sellers are allowed to list.
