does that mean if there is something wrong with the machine the seller wont help and I am out of a sale?

eBay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. Your purchases are protected by eBay for up to 30 days after delivery. That Guarantee overrides an individual Seller's return policy and covers if the item is never received or is received damaged.
The majority of transactions go smoothly. Things that can help is to look at the Seller's feedback profile before you purchase. Seller's with great feedback from their Buyers and a longer history of selling on eBay can be a great indicator of a problem-free sale. Don't go by price alone.
