Seller does not accept returns but my item arrived damaged
I bought a teapot on eBay, it was delivered quickly and packaged well, however before I even opened it I could hear something was broken and it appeared the spout had snapped off. I contacted the seller but they haven’t responded and the description says they don’t accept returns. I don’t know how to do a request to get my money back. Can anyone help please? I can’t return the broken teapot because the seller won’t accept returns. Thank you in advance

OP3 years agoA quick update, I managed to do a ‘chat’ with EBay and they opened a request for me. Hopefully this will be resolved one way or another. It just annoys me a little when sellers don’t respond. Thank you all for your replies.

·3 years agoThey can ignore you but once a case is opened they'll need to respond to the case by three days.

·3 years agoYou're covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee. Go to your Purchase History and click on 'Return this item." Choose the reason, not as described, broken. This opens a return case. The seller must provide a return label or a refund by three days. If they do not then return to the case and ask eBay for help.

OP3 years agothank you for your reply, I have tried this but because the seller does not accept returns it won’t let me click ‘confirm’. I did contact the seller by message a few days ago, but have heard nothing from him.

·3 years agoGo to your purchased items on click on return this item reson Item not as described. The seller will have 3 days to ether refund you or send you a return label which will be followed by a refund.
EBay Money back guarantee overrides anything the seller may say.
