seller deleated thier account and item how do i get a refund

Question

Bought a Camera, good price, paid paypal. Seller deleted their account, deleted the item. I cannot select any of the return item, or didn't receive items pull down functions because, it no longer exists. I can open a dispute with paypal, but it will take 10 days, and I do not want negative non-payment on eBay, as I have essentially been frauded by the seller. Having trouble contacted eBay.

Thank you for such a quick response. I really appreciate it. If eBay deleted it (obviously fraud) wouldn't they also release me from the purchase? I'm filling with PayPal, should be fine.

Hi @californiauctioneers

The seller could NOT have deleted their account so quickly. [It takes MONTHS to close an account.] Only eBay could have deleted the seller's account and removed the listing for the item you purchased.

Hopefully you used a credit card to pay through PayPal. You should be able to get a quicker refund by contacting your credit card company directly. Use the number on the back of your card.
