Seller defaulting promise to refund
I I am a 69 year-old grandma I purchased a battery for my iphone. Purchased (Nov 10) from a eBay seller saved up the money had it installed and it was defaulted. I contacted the seller within days of it being installed. He promised that it had been checked and it was a good battery. The performance in my phone said otherwise the owner professed the the strict testing and assured it was sent out @ 100%. phone would not hold a charge phone got really hot, seller agreed to refund or keep for 30% discount. It took me six weeks to save up the money after with serious health issues that conflicted with the return and the holidays. Replied to the seller on sent the refund request, got a new battery (which works great off Amazon) to get another one afford to have it reinstalled and then the refund promised in correspondence.
on Jan 10 I contacted for the refund after finally saving up enough for a new battery and installation fees. Seller replied I needed to make a refund ticket, I did, sellers response, no refund outside the refund window, seller blocked my ability to give a star rating. Seller agreed to refund days after purchase and notified of defect . I could not afford to pay someone to remove the battery and be without my phone until I could afford a new one plus instltation, seller did not offer to replace battery.

Mentor8 months agoYou only have 30 days after receipt of the item to file a returns request for Item Not as Described. It appears you are outside of that 30 day return window, so the seller can decline the return. If you paid with a credit card, contact your card company regarding a chargeback.
