Seller deciding to retract the item after I won the bid.
Seller contacted me after I won the bid stating that the bidding process didn't get the high bid he was expecting and wants to cancel the transaction. Isn't that against ebay policy?

·2 years agoDid you pay? Is he telling you not to pay? Is he asking you if you want a refund/cancellation (if he gets you to request one he can avoid the defect)? What exactly did he say about payment?

Yes it IS against Ebay policy, and the seller will receive a defect from Ebay when they cancel the transaction.
