Seller created a label but never shipped my order
Dear ebay community. This is what happened to me. I'm still in shock. I ordered a kit on ebay from a certain seller. I saw he created a label but no tracking available. I contacted him, he said he doesn't know what happened. It made me suspicious, perhaps he changed his mind and never shipped my order. After a period of time, I contacted again, he issued a refund, and again no explanation to what happened. More than 1 month later, I receive a message from ebay that my order was "delivered" to me. I got alarmed, because I was home all day and no package arrived at my house. I contacted the postal office and started an investigation. Meanwhile, I messaged the seller and explained the situation. I even promised to send the order back to him if it showed up. He played like he is surprised and I messaged back saying, it's like a "ghost package" that was lost and showed up but nowhere seen. Today, I received a call from the USPS official who explained to me what happened. He created the label but never used it. After a while, if label isn't used, USPS gives it to someone else. So, the tracking number he got after he created the label was taken by another person, so naturally, it wasn't my order or package but someone else's and it was delivered to someone else's house. Ebay still showing to me that it was delivered to me. What should I do in this case? How can I notify ebay about this dishonesty on the seller's part and remove "delivered" from the page?! - Thank you, in advance.
