Seller complaint
Are you able to post complaints about a buyer ( if you are the seller ) that can be posted & viewed or is it only a one way street that FAVORS the buyer? Thanks.

What is the problem you had with the buyer?

OP2 years agoBuyer left a very negative review for no good reason. Complained that the item I sold was dry mounted which reduced the resale value. News Flash: I said the item WAS dry mounted in my description! Also complained of my shipping. Thought I did a shoddy job. BUT… he noted there was no damage. Probably because I sent it in a solid, secure envelope. Appeared fine to me. Finally, everything I sell, I accept returns if not satisfied. That is posted. So if you would like to return it, fine. But spare me all the negativity which was actually your own doing for not reading the listing thoroughly! Thanks for letting me vent! 😂 Have a nice weekend!

The best thing you can do for yourself is to do whatever is in your power to satisfy the buyer. I would reach out to the buyer calmly and professionally to apologize for any expectations the item didn't meet, and invite him to open a return to send it back at your expense.
You can reply to the feedback to say that you're sorry that he was not satisfied with the condition of the item and you will be happy to take it back for a full refund. (The Reply option is to the right of the feedback you received.)
Whatever you do, don't blame the buyer. That looks worse for you than it does for the buyer. Show that you are quick to resolve problems and don't put the blame on others. You're trying to establish a reputation as a good seller so other buyers will buy from you, and being so new, this is especially important.
If the buyer returns the item, AFTER all is said and done, you can ask him if he would be willing to revise the negative feedback if you think he will. If he is willing, you can send him a feedback revision request.

·2 years agoBuyers cannot be given negative feedback and entering a negative comments in a positive feedback is a policy violation.
And yes most things go in favor of the buyer, this true in all of retail sales.
